• A leading specialty chemicals company planned to establish a cutting-edge facility for bromine recovery from seawater and the production of bromine derivatives. The project posed unique challenges due to the bromine’s highly corrosive nature and the need for stringent safety measures. SES provided end-to-end engineering solutions for this landmark project

Advanced Engineering Solutions- Scope of Work

• SES provided comprehensive support, beginning with cost estimation, Basic Engineering, and Extended Basic Engineering. Detailed engineering spanned multiple disciplines, including process optimization, mechanical equipment design (static and rotary), civil and structural works considering anti-corrosive measures, piping considering the corrosion resistive measures, control and automation system, electrical systems, and fire & safety design.
• SES provided Engineering support for utility design & integration starting from power supply, Process & Cooling water, Boiler Feed Water, Demineralized Water, Steam, Compressed Air, Chilled Water, Nitrogen, Vacuum System, ETP, Scrubbing System, for the project.

• The project also required in-depth SIL studies and HAZOP analysis to ensure the highest safety standards were achieved. SES’s meticulous approach to fire and safety design provided the client with peace of mind while complying with international safety regulations.
